You would also be responsible to maximize every sales opportunity by cross selling our products.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm unless otherwise agreed

POSITION DETAILS:
•Assist producer with all aspects of servicing commercial accounts
•Market accounts (new submissions & renewals)
•Process documentation (Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Renewals, Proposals, Endorsements, In-House Policies, Invoicing, Finance Contracts, Customer Correspondence)
•Review and ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers before forwarding to the client
•Contact clients for renewal information
•Update client information as changes occur
•Answer account related questions/requests from clients, lawyers, and banks
•Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

•Level 2 General Insurance License is a must
•Previous commercial insurance experience required
•TAM, Policy Works, Certificate Exchange & Lincq experience an asset
•Excellent Written and Spoken English
•Exceptional customer service skills
•Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
•Typing speed of at least 55 wpm

Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Acting as a service partner to the Account Director as it relates to delivering Premier Brand Service to our clients
• Assist in remarketing accounts as required
• Negotiating renewal terms with underwriters as required
• Set-up and follow-up with COC’s
• Create new business proposals as required
• Prepare ad-hoc spreadsheets as required
• Process bond requests
• Assist in filling the lines
• Attend client visits to foster Premier client relationships
• Claims support as needed
• Complete all invoicing
• Update and maintain documents using Microsoft office as required
• Field all calls for Account Director and assist or delegate based on client needs
• Knowledge, understanding and Support of the Risk Reduction Approach (RRA)
• Writing new business for existing clients
• Travel as required

Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of previous commercial insurance experience required
• Surety Bonding experience an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft office including Word & Excel & PowerPoint
• CIP or CAIB Designations or working towards completion

We are seeking a Personal Lines Manager to oversee general operations at our Shelbourne Street branch.

Reporting to the Director of Personal Insurance, as the Personal Lines Manager you will demonstrate your passion for coaching and teamwork by building strong relationships with clients and employees alike. You will combine your previous people-management experience and your insurance industry experience to lead the team to successfully meet our goals. In this role, your positive attitude, enthusiasm will motive the team and you will lead by example to align the department with our core values. The Personal Lines Manager for our Shelbourne Street office does have a Personal Lines Account Manager component.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 Training and developing the Team
 Providing effective coaching and feedback
